Pakistan is facing water scarcity despite having the world’s largest glacier. An augmenting gap between water supply and demand is complicated by it’s climate, geography & hydrological cycle. Every year hundreds of people die from heat-stroke, dehydration and water related illnesses.

Pakistan is lacking water storage and every year huge amount of water is lost in our ocean. People are depending on  sources such as ponds, rivers and lakes. It can be life-threatening to utilize dangerous water sources with limited awareness & education of proper sanitation & hygiene techniques

There are several massive reforestation projects currently going on, which are funded by government and non-profit organizations. However Pakistan is a country with low forest cover. With the population growing at 2.6 percent annually, the forest area per capita is declining. Agricultural expansion, tourism development, infrastructure and the increase in settlements have all contributed to deforestation and forest degradation.

Pakistan is facing several challenges related to air pollution, climate change, noise pollution and water pollution. Major role is played by increasing population, deforestation and rise in carbon production.
